APPEAR FOR JURY DUTY. 

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU?

  1. A SUMMNONS IS A  DIRECT ORDER FROM THE COURT;
  2. FAILING TO COMPLY WITH A DIRECT ORDER FROM THE COURT CAN RESULT IN CRIMINAL CHARGES FOR "CONTEMPT OF COURT"
  3. PENALTIES FOR CONTEMPT OFCOURT INCLUDE JAIL TIME AND FINANCIAL FINES;
  4. YOUR APPPEARANCE IS MANDATORY UNLESS YOU ARE EXCUSED BY THE JURY COMMISSIONER.
  5. IF YOU FAIL TO APPEAR FOR JURY SERVICE, A WARRANT MAY BE ISSUED FOR YOUR ARREST (SHOW CAUSE HEARING.)

Please read this entire guide before calling with any questions. Jury Commissioners are available to answer questions between the hours of 9 AM – 3 PM. Be advised that we receive a high volume of calls, so your patience is appreciated.
