Pretrial Court Supervised Release Program (CSR)
This program was designated to relieve the overcrowding of the Lorain County Jail of Felony pretrial detainees. Detainees are interviewed by program staff to determine eligibility for the program. Individuals placed into the Court Supervised Release Program are supervised by Probation Officers. Offenders are required to meet all requirements of the program and any Court imposed conditions of bond. Urinalysis screening is randomly completed. The Court of jurisdiction is advised of any rule infraction or new offenses committed while in the program. Electronic Monitoring/House Arrest and Alcohol Monitoring are monitored by this Unit of the Probation Department.
